My car is going into the garage – do I have to take the mile tracker out?

Taking your vehicle to the garage with pay-per-mile

If you have pay-per-mile insurance and your car is going into the garage, please remove the mile tracker from the OBD port when you arrive and store it safely to avoid it getting lost. There's a fee to replace a lost mile tracker.

Please remember to plug the device in again when you collect your car.

If you have any other kind of insurance, don't unplug your device and let us know your vehicle is going into the garage. This protects you from being judged on any driving a mechanic might do while testing. They may need to unplug it to run diagnostic testing, which is fine.
