What happens if I run out of miles?

Going over your declared mileage

You can track your mileage against the mileage you declared in the Ticker app. It's shown in 10% chunks, so you'll need to have driven 10% of your declared mileage before you'll see the app update.

Example:

If you declare 6,000 miles, you won't start seeing your mileage use update until you've driven 600 miles.

You can always start a chat and ask what your exact mileage is if you're worried.

We'll let you know if you're getting close to the mileage you declared, and you can just update that yourself in the Ticker app. You'll get a quote to check what you need to pay, then make the change right then and there.

You don't need to worry about updating your declared mileage if you have a pay-per-mile policy as we automatically charge you based on how much you've driven.

Please be aware there is a maximum amount of mileage we will cover. If you reach this limit, you may not be able to add more. Start a chat to get help with this.
