If you have the stick-on Ticker device, yes. This is a condition of your insurance:
You need to keep mobile data and location services on when you drive
Your phone must paired with the stick-on Ticker device and in the vehicle when you drive (switched on!)
Your Bluetooth must be switched on when you drive
These conditions apply to all drivers on the policy.
If you have the plug-in Ticker device, the device has its own network that it uses to send us data, but just like your phone it relies on a good network signal.
